Own a Galaxy S5? One thing you should know how to do is take a screenshot. This can come in handy in all sorts of situations and is an extremely simple process.
There are two ways to capture your screen. In this guide we'll show you both of them.
The first method is perhaps the easiest and the most discreet. All it consists of is holding two buttons down at the same time.
Simultaneously hold the power button and the home button until the screen flashes. This indicates that your image has been saved.
But let's be honest: these phones aren't exactly small and pressing both buttons at the same time can be difficult. So if you don't like that method there's another for you to try.
This second method makes me feel like I've got superpowers when I use it. But it needs to be enabled before it'll work:
Start out by visiting your settings menu. To find this pull down from the top of the screen. This opens a drop down box. In the upper right hand corner you'll see a little gear icon. Tap that.
Now scroll down until you find Motion. From there select Motions and gestures.
Make sure Palm swipe to capture is set to on.
Perfect. Now to take a screenshot all you have to do is swipe your hand across your screen.
If you'd like to edit, share, or simply view your screenshot you can do so in the Gallery app.
Be sure to try both methods to decide your favorite! We hope you enjoy taking and sharing screenshots on your Galaxy S5.[an error occurred while processing this directive]
